In the Community
Temple Emanu-El joins with other congregations and the Jewish Federation of Eastern Connecticut to sponsor programs such as the Eastern CT Junior and Senior Youth Groups, Jewish Community Center Without Walls, and the annual Institute of Adult Jewish Studies.

Temple Emanu-El also participates in regional events, the community celebration of Israel Independence Day, Holocaust remembrance programs, and regional Reform services. We participate in East Lyme-Waterford interfaith services, and our Social Action group helps to coordinate an interfaith food locker and to support a community soup kitchen.
