Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood

Who we are:

Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood plays an integral role in the life of the synagogue. Serving as a support system for women, meetings are held once a month from September through June. These meetings offer a variety of Jewish programs and activities to interest and involve women of all ages. Past activities have included cooking for Shabbat, holidays, and festivals; a craft auction; an annual book fair; a fashion show; and speakers on a wide range of topics.

The Sisterhood Operates the Judaica shop. At Chanukah, Sisterhood sends menorahs to all college students whose families are members of Temple Emanu-El, and with Brotherhood provides candle sticks and kiddush cups to Bar and Bat Mitzvah students.
